Trench Rollers – New Zealand Equipment Group
  • RD12A NEW - High performance rollers for excellent compaction results

The RD12A tandem vibratory roller with 35.4 inch (900 mm) drum width and an overall operating weight of 1.2 Tons includes dual drum drive and articulated steering for excellent maneuverability. A front drum vibration and static rear drum offer a highly efficient and compact roller. This machine is ideally suited for commercial and residential compaction of asphalt and granular subbase material. Primary applications include parking lots, driveways, secondary roads, repair work and nature trails. Additionally, the RD12A is utilized for turf rolling in the landscape and golf industry segments.
  • RD18 - Compact, maneuverable and powerful

Thanks to their large drum diameter combined with a low machine center of gravity, the articulated RD18 models provide for first-class compaction performances. The end user benefits from maximum driving comfort here thanks to the three-point articulated joint and the intuitive operation. One special feature of the RD18-100 and RD18-100C models is the unilateral drum lifting point, which makes it possible to compact right up to the edge or on the wall..
  • RD27 - Perfect view – perfect performance

Due to the specially tapered design of the articulated tandem-axle rollers, the operator always has the drum edges, the machine environment and the job site in view. This ensures ideal compaction results. The ergonomic operator's platform, the vibration-reduced driver's cabin and the 3-point articulated joint provide for maximum driving comfort. In crab steering mode, you can also easily compact in narrow edge areas or along curbs.
  • RD45 - Powerful and versatile

Due to the low machine height, the articulated joint and the optimal view, the RD45 rollers can be used in a variety of ways.
  • RTX-SC3 - The smart remote-controlled trench roller

*pictures may differ from the standard in the country
The RT trench roller with the SC3 infrared-remote control offers proven compaction results with safer operation. The smart control uses an infrared signal with line-of-sight control. The machine stops moving and vibrating should the line-of-sight be lost or if the operator comes within one meter (three feet) of the roller’s receiving eyes with the control box. The articulated trench roller offers below the axle exciter in each drum to allow for the efficient transfer of compaction energy to the soil for superior compaction results.
